And here’s two we prepared earlier…
How many global businesses can chart the career progression of a senior board member from graduate trainee to CEO? At Kerry, both our Group CEO and the CEO of Kerry Foods did just that; a sure testament to the success of our Graduate Development Programme. And whilst not every graduate can hope to scale those dizzy heights, we are able to board many success stories each year as our graduates make their mark in their chosen fields.
Stan McCarthy, CEO, Kerry Group — Class of ’76
“Our graduates are the lifeblood of Kerry. Every year, the energy, passion and commitment of our latest intake of graduates inspires and re-energises me. As conductors of change, their experiences and contemporary outlook help to shape and drive our business.”
Flor Healy, CEO, Kerry Foods — Class of ’84
“As a graduate of the Kerry GDP myself, I am well-placed to endorse the depth and relevance of the programme. It provided me with a solid foundation in business development, exposed me to all aspects of operational and commercial management and afforded me the opportunity to influence the ongoing development of the business. I clearly remember being challenged to think of alternative and improved ways of doing things - and having a lot of fun along the way.”
How the GDP works
Our Graduate Development Programme continues to attract some of the most driven and ambitious graduates. And here’s how it works…
Your training begins with a three-day induction, when you’ll have the chance to meet fellow graduates and find out more about Kerry.
Then, over two years, you’ll have every opportunity to fine tune your technical and managerial skills through six key training modules, covering topics such as team working, performance management, presentation skills and project management.
Building the foundations of a solid career
Along with the invaluable experience you’ll be gaining every day on the job, these modules will give you a solid foundation on which to build a great career.
From day one, we’ll also give you the freedom – and encouragement – to challenge existing processes and the way we currently work. After all, ours is a business that thrives on fresh thinking and innovation.
